Account Coordinator (1–3 years of experience)

The account coordinator is one of the primary links between the client and our agency. They are responsible for managing relationships, multitasking and overseeing day-to-day project requirements for small, medium and large accounts, in a very fast-paced agency environment.

The account coordinator will work closely with the account director on tasks such as developing client-relationship-building strategies; identifying accounts’ needs, and acting on how we can best meet those needs to increase customer retention; and identifying and acting on potential business opportunities within all accounts.

Our goal, for the entire account team, is to make every client, no matter what size the account, feel that they are the most important account to this company.

Responsibilities:
  • Being the day-to-day contact on small- to large-sized projects
  • Understanding projects’ scope and requirements based on verbal or written briefings
  • Managing multiple projects, small to large, on time and on budget, with exceptional client satisfaction. This includes: preparing schedules and quotations; managing projects’ budgets and deadlines; keeping accurate project records; preparing project invoices; keeping senior management team, clients and staff updated on the status of all projects; and regularly following up with internal staff to monitor the progress of all projects
  • Liaising between clients and internal staff, which includes: preparing and coordinating project schedules, responding to all requests, compiling meeting notes/briefing information/instructions, keeping accurate records, communicating the status of budgets and time, reviewing revisions, etc.
  • Liaising with suppliers, which includes: preparing purchase orders, approving vendor invoices, responding to requests, compiling meeting notes and instructions; preparing and coordinating project schedules, and following up on outstanding project issues and deliverables
  • Being backup to any member of the account services team in their absence
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Account Manager (3–5 years of experience)

They love working on projects that integrate all types of media, from digital to print, advertising and social. The right candidate loves problem solving and enjoys working on fast-paced national and international accounts. They excel when collaborating with talented internal writers, designers and developers. This candidate can effectively prioritize projects and juggle multiple tasks.

This person can write a tight brief for cross-functional teams, to ensure all clients' initiatives are clear, schedules and budgets are met, and all communication and marketing goals have been fulfilled or exceeded. They will assist the agency's principals during strategy and creative presentations, explaining and supporting the agency’s work. Web developer: 5–7 years of experience

We’re looking for a web developer (5–7 years of experience) to join our digital team—the ideal match will be someone who loves working with small project teams (strategists, writers, designers and project managers) to create amazing digital experiences.

The developer’s responsibilities include hands-on building of websites and digital tools, from concept all the way to completion.

Technical skills:
  • Front-end: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery and Ajax
  • Back-end: PHP and database administration (MySQL and other common database technologies)
  • Content management systems: WordPress and Drupal (other CMS experience a bonus), including working with customized themes, plug-ins, modules, etc.
  • Version control: Git (nice to have)
  • Design: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (for working with design files supplied by creative team)
  • WCAG: Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (nice to have)
Responsibilities:
  • Working with project teams to plan websites and digital tools within G&S’s development methodology
  • Working with design teams to implement front-end design and develop supporting back-end
  • Developing web applications using a range of solutions based on project requirements (from hard-coding static sites to providing dynamic, updatable content using WordPress, Drupal or other CMS platforms)
  • Optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Troubleshooting and debugging applications
  • Creating and maintaining software documentation
